Join us for the 2017 Strike Out ALS 5k and 1 Mile Run, Walk & Roll at Guaranteed Rate Field. As one of the Les Turner ALS Foundation’s signature events, the Strike Out ALS 5k and 1 Mile Run, Walk & Roll offers all athletes at any skill level the opportunity to compete for those who can’t.
The event features two exciting options for participants, a timed 5k Run or 1 Mile Run, Walk & Roll. Both races start at the iconic home plate of Comiskey Park and finish with a lap around the warning track of the ballpark. Participants can stay for an after-party at the ChiSox Bar & Grill to watch the MLB All-Star Game while enjoying a discounted menu with drink specials.
Since 2010, this unique event has attracted thousands of Chicago area runners and has raised more than $300,000 for the Les Turner ALS Foundation. Don’t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to race through Sox Park while raising funds to support people with ALS!
