Welcome to My Personal Fundraising Page
My husband Eric was a pretty fit guy. He would tell me often "we have to keep being healthy for our kids". And so he did. He was very athletic and worked out often. I remember being pregnant with my first child and feeling so nauseous. We would go for a run or go to the gym to keep my mind of my sickness. Back then I would only run a few miles and now I have added many more miles to my runs. I often wonder how it would feel to have this life long partner of mine running next to me always. I can only imagine how my boys' and my daily life would be, having this hero with us. Now he is with us in spirit and our guardian angel. I will run in his memory 26.2 miles on Sunday, October 13th. I will run for those battling the same thing Eric did and for the families fighting ALS.
ALS has robbed our lives. It has taken my husband and the father of Ethan and Connor. It has taken a brother, an uncle, a brother-in-law, a son-in-law, a cousin, and a great friend from our lives. Eric fought hard to continue being with us. He went through so much, emotionally and physically. It makes me so sad when I remember the pain in his eyes. He taught us all so much. He taught us to be strong, to be courageous, and to have faith. Please help us fight ALS in memory of Eric and more than anything to help those that are battling ALS. Let’s fight for a cure.
Please consider making a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal. Together, we can make an impact and create a world free of ALS.
