Grayslake Lacrosse vs. ALS
2 Teams, 1 Goal - Grayslake Lacrosse vs. ALS
The Grayslake North and Central Lacrosse teams will hold their first annual Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) awareness game on Friday, May 11, 2018, in honor and memory of Coach Tim Paust. Tim lost his battle with ALS in a short 26 months after his initial diagnosis. Tim was instrumental to so many young athletes in the Grayslake community.
On game day we will have 100+ Grayslake High School lacrosse players, youth participants and community members taking part in this special night, in recognition of Tim and his tireless energy and passion for the youth of Grayslake and the great sport of lacrosse.
Please join us in wearing blue for the fight against ALS. There will be a 50/50 raffle, t-shirt sales and donations accepted at the event. In addition, everyone is welcome to join us for dinner after the game at Buffalo Wild Wing’s where a portion of the sales will go towards the fight against ALS.
All proceeds from the event and online donations will benefit the Les Turner ALS Foundation.
