#MATTYMATTERS Fundraising for 2019 Chicago Marathon
I am participating in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon as part of Team Race for ALS because I believe in the mission of the Les Turner ALS Foundation.
More specifically, I am running the Chicago Marathon as a part of Team #MattyMatters. I have been lucky enough to be friends with the Keirnan family for nearly 20 years, and have gotten to know their extended family over those years. I am running to support Matty Beuke, his incredible family, and all of Team #MattyMatters. This cause is important to me and I'd greatly appreciate your support!
If you think I am crazy for running a marathon, you would be even crazier to think that I wouldn't after seeing the support and efforts of Team #MattyMatters. I am able to run, and that is enough to convince me to take on 26.2 miles for a great cause and an amazing family.
There is no known cure for ALS. We can help change the course of the disease and ensure that progress is made towards finding life-enhancing treatments and a cure.
Please consider making a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal. Together, we can make an impact and create a world free of ALS.
