Racing Towards a Cure
On Sunday May 5th heaven gained an angel and our family lost a very special lady to this horrible disease. Aunt Peggy was diagnosed about a year ago and thou the disease robbed her of physical abilities she remained positive-taking each day as it came and not giving up hope. She wanted nothing more than to be with her family and be able to celebrate her 50th wedding anniversary in June. One thing that was undeniable about Aunt Peggy was her love and commitment to her family. In her honor we have formed our Team-Peggy's Grace. We will continue her fight and walk to raise money and awareness and help find a cure in hope that one day no other family will be faced with this debilitating disease. Please join me as I participate in the Les Turner ALS Foundation's Strike Out ALS 5k and 1 Mile Run Walk and Roll as part of Peggy's Grace. We welcome anyone to come join our Team and we ask for your support. Every donation, great or small, is one step closer to finding a cure.

I believe in the mission of the Les Turner ALS Foundation. I believe in providing the best comprehensive care to people living with ALS and their families in Chicagoland and I believe that the money we raise together will lead to treatments and a cure for ALS. This cause is important to me and people living with ALS need your help!
ALS is scary. Really scary. Its rapid progression can mean tomorrow is often worse than today. As a result, people living with ALS are overwhelmed and unsure of what questions to ask and what to do next. But that’s where the Les Turner ALS Foundation comes in. The Foundation is here to care for those affected by the disease, answer their questions and support them and their loved ones every step of their journey.
I’m proud to be a member of the Les Turner ALS Foundation family. Join me as we work to support people living with ALS and those who love them every step of the way! Please consider making a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal. Together, we can make an impact in the fight against ALS.
