In May 2005 my sister Rosemary was diagnosed with ALS. For the next 38 months, Rosemary fought a graceful and courageous battle against this devastating, debilitating and often degrading disease. She could not swallow, nor could she breath without the aid of a machine.
On September 15th, the Les Turner Foundation is sponsoring a 2 mile Walk 4 Life. The funds raised will provide invaluable patient and family services as well as support for research. Any donation no matter how small will be appreciated. Thanks you in advance for being a voice for so many silenced by this dreadful disease.
