On March 11, 2020, we lost our father, Dave Scavotto, after an 18-month battle with ALS. We miss him every day, and it is heartbreaking to think about the pain and loss of function that he endured.
ALS deserves to be defeated. It has caused our family immeasurable loss, and our hope is that one day, it will no longer take parents, spouses, and children away from their families. And so, in memory of our dad, we are participating in a virtual ALS Walk for Life this September. This event supports the Les Turner Association, which was a constant source of support and resources during his fight with this disease.
If you’d like to support us, there are several ways you can do that.
• First, you could sign up to walk with us (More details to come).
• Second, you could make a donation and help us meet our fundraising goal.
• Third, you can help spread awareness by sharing this post.
• And fourth, if you pray, you could pray for our family as we process the loss of our dad.
Help us be part of the solution to ALS. To learn more about ALS or the Les Turner Foundation, you can go to lesturnerals.org.
