ALS is a neurodegenerative disease affecting the cells in the brain and spinal cord leading to a loss of muscle movement. Les Turner ALS Foundation is essentially here to care for those affected by the disease and to hopefully provide them with a better quality of life once diagnosed. 

I am participating in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon for ALS because I believe in the mission of the Les Turner ALS Foundation. I am running in honor of my dear family friend, Kevin Tighe. This cause is important to me and I’d greatly appreciate your support of my efforts <3
