Dearest Family and Friends:

Supporting people living with ALS is very near and dear to my heart as my beautiful friend Cheryl Gallagher has been living and struggling with ALS for 8 years now. Watching someone you love have the most difficult time with doing even the slightest daily tasks is heart wrenching. Sometimes in life we don’t realize just how lucky we are to be living a life where we don’t need someone to depend on. A person struggling with ALS however is dependent on those around them for even the smallest of tasks like getting a glass of water or wanting to use the bathroom. We need a viable cure to stop ALS. We need better medicines to help stop at least the progression of this dehabilitating and life shattering disease. 

I believe in the mission of the Les Turner ALS Foundation which is to strive for raising donations for finding and providing the best comprehensive care to people living with ALS and their families and I believe that the money we raise together will lead to treatments and a cure for ALS.  There have been some minute advances for treatments for ALS thanks and partly because of people’s (like you) donations. This cause is important to me and her and all humans that are living with ALS. We need your help!

ALS is scary. Really scary! And damaging not only physically but emotionally.  Its rapid progression most often means tomorrow is often worse than today. As a result, people living with ALS are overwhelmed and unsure of what questions to ask and what to do next let alone what they are able to do on a day to day basis. But that’s where the Les Turner ALS Foundation comes in. They exist to care for those affected by the disease, guide them to answers, support them and their loved ones and provide hope through scientific research.

There is even so much much more that most people don’t even realize I personally can tell you this.
