Walk for Hope. Walk for Help. Walk for Life.
My mother, Gloria Jean Stephens was plagued by one of the worst diseases to ever exist - ALS! She fought a year long battle against the disease before she finally, peacefully closed her eyes on August 4, 2013.
I will never forget my beautiful mother. The memory of her often brings me to a smile or full blown laugher, thinking about all her sayings and ways of doing things. Nowadays I find myself saying the same things to my son. So her wisdom has been able to reach down in the depths of the earth and produce the beautiful flowers that are your 50 plus direct descendants.
I’m proud to be a member of the LesTurner ALS Foundation family because they carried us when we needed them the most!
Join me as we work to support people living with ALS and those who love them every step of the way! Please consider making a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal. Together, we can make an impact in the fight against ALS.
