About Les' Spirit
Our team is participating in the 23rd Les Turner ALS WALK because we believe in the work of the Les Turner ALS Foundation, we believe in providing the best possible care to Chicagoland area ALS patients and their families and we believe that the money we raise together will lead to finding the cause(s) and cure(s) for ALS.
The money raised through the Walk helps people currently living with ALS (PALS) and their families through the Foundation’s Home and Community Service and grant programs. It also supports the Les Turner ALS Research and Patient Center at Northwestern Medicine where PALS are seen by a multi-disciplinary clinical staff at the Lois Insolia ALS Clinic, ensuring no part of their disease goes unseen and untreated. The Center also supports four full functioning research laboratories, each one providing hope of a future without ALS. We'd LOVE to have you Join us in person as we know you will be amazed at the support of so many people. If that is not possible, your support via a donation and/or by asking family and friends to donate would be deeply appreciated as we MARCH TOWARDS A WORLD FREE OF ALS.
As we are now in the final week before the WALK and we are SO GRATEFUL for the generosity of SO MANY of you, we are going for the final push and are raising our GOAL to $50,000! THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR PUTTING YOUR TRUST IN US. WE PROMISE YOU THAT THE MONEY RAISED WILL BE PUT TO THE BEST USES.
We hope we can count on your support. Official walk day is Saturday, September 14th at Soldier Field. Grounds open at 9:00 am, and the WALK kicks off at 10:30am. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR INCREDIBLE SUPPORT!
