9th Annual World's Longest Turkey Trot for ALS

Every year we run between Chicago and Milwaukee on Black Friday to remember our dear friend Alfredo.
9 years ago Scotty and Alfredo challenged themselves to run from Chicago to Milwaukee for no particular reason. Shortly after Alfredo died of ALS. Every year a group of possibly completely idiotic people re-do this run, and raise moeny for ALS to remember and honor Alfredo.
As such, we are hosting an online fundraiser on behalf of the Les Turner ALS Foundation’s Fundraise Your Way program because I believe in their mission of providing the best possible care to people and families living with ALS in the Chicagoland area. And I believe that the funds we raise together will lead to a cure for ALS. This cause is important to me and I would greatly appreciate your support of my efforts.
ALS is scary. Really scary. But the Les Turner ALS Foundation exists to care for those affected by the disease, answer their questions and support people living with ALS. They provide a personalized approach to treatment and care–preparing people living with ALS to navigate their difficult journey and supporting them and those they love each step of the way.
Please consider making a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal. Together, we can make an impact and create a world free of ALS.
