Brady and Ty Race for ALS

Brady Beck and Ty Williams met during their first week as Purdue students in August 2019. They instantly became good friends after bonding over soccer, running, and life as engineering students. During the same time at home, Brady's father, Dan, was living with ALS. Diagnosed in early 2019, Dan and the Beck family received incredible support from the Les Turner ALS foundation. This support continued throughout his time with the disease until he sadly passed away in June 2021.

Brady and Ty are now participating in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon as part of Team Race for ALS. Both have always watned to take on the challenge of running a marathon, and now they get to do so while honoring Dan and rasing money for a great organization. The funds raised will help provide the same benefits to other people living with ALS, and these funds will bring us closer to a cure for the disease. This cause is important to Brady and Ty and they greatly appreciate your support.

Please consider making a donation to help us reach and exceed our fundraising goal. Together, we can make an impact and create a world free of ALS.
